QUESTIONS FOR A LEADER

A company contacted me yesterday inviting me to speak at their next quarterly meeting. Apparently, someone recommended me after reading my recent post “You First, But Unselfishly”. I think that this merits a quick comment. From my perspective, I get to fix a lot of corporate brokenness. Problems, often stemming from its leadership base, trickle down the chain slow moving toxins that gradually eats away its internal structure resulting in an inevitable decay to the point of demise. When the hood is lifted, the problem is most often readily visible at the top level. So, once again, my recent post raises an important question: How in the world are you possibly expected to help others if you yourself aren’t good personally, professionally, and/or spiritually? Asked another way, how can an individual possibly lead a corporation if they cannot even lead themselves?
